MORE NEW STUFF!!
The second part of the commission I tried a slightly different style, in that I didn't outline in quite as bold lines and gave the subject a more "subtle" appearance.
This is Katherine another of my sister's friends and all I had to go on was that she worked on the Railways and had her own training company, she enjoys her "Archers"Schnapps, DIY and Yoga!
This image was also turned into a card picture and t-shirt!
NEW STUFF!!!!
It's been a while since I've put any work of note on here and I have my excuse......LIFE!!! We have had an 18month old Son, Edmund who is a joy but very hard work too! As most parents will agree! My Wife has to take him out, over to the in-laws etc just so I can get on!!
Imagine my horror when I was commissioned to do not one but two pieces for two 40th Birthdays I thought uh-oh! Especially when they were going away on the same girlie trip and so therefore wanted by the same deadline!
I think I managed to pull it off though, as well as a picture a card was produced and a t-shirt!!
Below is Kelly a friend of my Sister's, a keen cyclist, lover of Basset Hounds, Friends, Robbie Williams and of course bubbly!!

Skye
A pencil drawing of Agent "Skye" from one of my favourite shows, Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. This took several days to complete as I wanted to work on the shading building it up gradually ensuring a realism to the face and hair by using various tone as per the photo reference which was used to create the image.

Boy By The Sea
This commissioned piece was for a Birthday gift which was then printed onto a cake! By all accounts the client seemed to love it!!

A 40th Birthday Gift
I was recently asked by my Sister to come up with a gift for her best-friend Jo who was going to be celebrating her 40th Birthday! It was quite short notice as I only had 3 weeks to produce something! I must admit I struggled with it for a while then, once I'd got the features and expression right (using a photo for reference) and a theme to base it around I was quite pleased with the result. So was the recipient of the piece and I gather the image also ended up on a cake too!

Ice Bucket Challenge: Response!
I know this is not artwork or animation but in order for me to post my ALS Ice bucket challenge response onto facebook, I thought I'd use my blog!!! Good thinking as facebook was not having any of it? Something to do with "parameters being bad" or something!?
I'm wearing a West Ham shirt and shorts because an alarming picture of my Niece in an Arsenal kit was posted on said site!! Also I was nominated to take part in the Ice bucket challenge by my Niece!! So I in turn nominated my friends, Harvey King, Darren Houseden and Darren Swain, who now have 24 hrs to complete the challenge!
