MATT'S 30TH

This was a present for my ex-tutor's 30th Birthday which he celebrated last weekend! As a tutor he teaches animation and along with this has a passion for all things SCI-FI!! (Star Wars being a favourite!)

Pencil Portrait

Following on from my Photoshop experiment! I thought that I'd go back to the drawing board (quite literally)! Using a selection of pencils and an image of actress Rachel Weisz, (I'd used one previously all be it a slightly different pose)! I wanted to see if I could focus on the pose and in the process try to improve on my shading techniques making sure that the finished drawing was accurate to the image.
Which I think I managed!??

Portrait Project

The first pic created entirely in Photoshop on my tablet with no pencil drawings involved. Based on an image of the British and Hollywood actress, Rachel Weisz. I was quite pleased with the result and it made a nice change to do something serious for a change!

Gerry

The latest piece that was produced as a commission for a 50th Birthday present. Once I had the image drawn out in pencil, working from reference photos and info, I then painted and finished off the details in Photoshop. The recipient (who knew nothing about it!) by all accounts was very pleased with it!!!

Jabba

This was commissioned for his Birthday showing him and his dog Jibbly. The image was created using photos for reference and info supplied! He works for, Everything Everywhere, is a massive Luton Town supporter and also likes a drink! The strap-line is a saying that he is known for using! Once again drawn in pencil first and then painted in Photoshop.
